Human being has sought happiness from birth till death. It is not a permanent happiness. It has gone away from age to age and from person to person. The remaining are bodies and ancient buildings which become the tourists attractions. It is like a warning or reminding us that everything does not exist eternally.
With love God see us in sin, in the power of Satan and evil spirits. This makes human being unjoyful. God love people and He send His Son to be born on earth as a man. He expresses His love through His Son. His son will be crucified on the cross. He was born again. This shows that the Son conquers sin, death and Satan..
So everyone who obeys Jesus Christ will have peaceful lives which are not the same as people on earth.
