PUT  YOUR  PROBLEM  IN ITS  PROPER  PERSPECTIVE,

Avoid the natural  inclination to exaggerate  your problem,an often fatal    mistake of the impossibility-complexed  person. The average human being  has an  amazing   talent to make mountains   out of mole   hills. I remember a lady who came to my office to tell me, “I’ve had it  I’m going to  divorce  my  husband.”

“Does he get drunk?” I asked the troubled wife. “Oh no!” the frustrated wife said to me.

“Does he run  around with other women?” I  asked.

“No,he’s pretty good that way,”she  answered.

Does he refuse to work? Or gamble his money away?” I asked. “No! No! That’s one thing I have to say-he’s a good man that way,” she replied.

“Does he beat you or hit you?” I   asked.

“Goodness  no!”  She was shocked at my question.

“Well, is he a homosexual or a narcotics  addict?” I queried. Of course not!” she said indignantly.

“Well then,” I advised, “be careful before you divorce him.I know a hundred lonely women who will really run after him as soon as you let him go.”

“You know,” she said with a sobering reflection on her face, “he probably isn’t such a bad fellow  after all.”
