23 “‘On that day,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.” (Haggai 2:23)
We might not hear about signet very often. However, it is very important in the Bible. Because it indicates that the ring is used as the declaration of authority or show that the message has been sent from the king. The Gospel here also tell us the symbol of authority and of Almighty. We found ourselves be chosen and have power like the lawyer who can do anything in the name of the clients as the clients themselves. We can approach things God has promised and it is available for us. They are healing, preparation, strength, peace, and rejoice. We have the right to get everything that God prepared for us.
Pray: Father we thank the Lord to Choose us to belong to you. Please help me to understand the authority you give me through Jesus Christ and I am so grateful to have everything you give me. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
