A well-known Christian doctor passed away suddenly. His wife was completely grief-stricken. But had a deep and abiding faith in what God said though the Bible.

The day after his death, she took the little card that her husband had often used in the surgery, and pasted it on the clinic door. It read.

“Gone for a little while, be back soon!”

Even in the face of unbearable sorrow, this lady knew that hers was only a temporary separation, because God had promised her that the dead in Christ will reign with Him forever.
