Witnessing for the Lord with courage (Luke 19:10)
Background. Jesus spent time from morning till dusk witnessing and spreading the gospel. Jesus never tires, even when he has to walk everywhere to witness.
Jesus asked the disciples to gather on Pentecost Day to receive the Holy Spirit, thereafter having the courage and ability to spread the good news.

Why must we all witness?
1. It`s the command of Jesus. (Mark 16:15-18, Luke 24: 46-49, John 20:21, Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19-20)  We can share our testimonies of how God has helped us
and let others know. People who receive God will have many changes in their lives, such as healing, removal of evil spirits, protection, problems solved..
as God answers their prayers. So they can use this to testify to people.
2. Because it shows our loyalty and gratitude. After receiving God`s love, we experience love for people, even those who previously are unlovable, because God
loved us first! (John 1:12)
3) Its the only way for people to be saved. (Acts 4:12)  We have salvation, we should share it with others, example our family, friends, acquaintances etc.
4) Everyone`s life is precious and valuable to our Lord. (John 3:16)  God does not want anyone to miss out on the Salvation.
(Matthew 28 :20)  Jesus promises us that He will be with us when we witness.

Reasons that God promises us that He will be with us:
1. We will be filled with the Holy Spirit. ( Acts 1:8)
2. The Holy Spirit will be our Helper and Guide. (John 14:26). Our encourager when we faced problems.
3. God will ensure that the work will progress. (2 Corinthians 6:1)  We are the disciples doing God`s work.
4. God promises to work in their ears and make the people we witness to believe, (John 6:44)  God
will touch the listener`s hearts. It`s the work of God.
5. God will protect us from all danger. (Acts 12:11) God releases Peter out from the jail by making an earthquake that opened the doors.
6. No disciple can work alone without the help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will be with us throughout. We have to invite the Holy Spirit amongst us.
(Luke 19:1-10, John 1:35-39)
