Psalm 90: 14-17
Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.
May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.
The Psalm total about 150 chapters, and we know they are mainly written by David, and Moses, plus other song writers.
Moses wrote Psalm 90- as a new year prayer. The song of Moses is written about the unpredictability of life. God is permanent and
forever, we are fragile and do not last long. In the difficulties of life, we cannot hide anything from God.
Moses led a very long life of 120 years. For the first 40 years the Israelites could not enter the promised land. What dis Moses ask from God?
1. Ephesians 5:15-16 Ask for wisdom to use his time wisely.
We have to spend time to serve God, to read the Bible, to Pray. If not we will end up spending our time on sin, and on the mobile phone.
Example of having wisdom. Jesus arranges His time correctly. 1 Corinthians 1:30
2. Asked for peace and rejoicing in Him all the time. Verse 13-15
Philippians 4:4.
Every time God blesses us, we should rejoice and thank Him. Learn to be happy with the present.
3. Let His works be ours. Romans 12:2
Moses sacrificed his life to God. God Has a plan for us in our lives to do His will.
Be like David, Moses and Paul. Ask God what God wants us to do.
4. Be of favor to God., Be in God`s Favor. Verse 17
God loves every one but gives favor to some. Who? People who listens to Him. People who Obeys Him.
