The Steadfast Love of the Lord never ceases. Lamentations 3:19-23
I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall.
I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me.
Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;  great is your faithfulness.

 
1) God will never be angry/ stay away for long
2) God pities those who wronged but have repented
3) God Blesses those who follows and waits upon Him
Lamentations has a total of 5 books. The first 2 books about torment. The writer is widely
thought to be Jeremiah, who wrote about Jerusalem being defeated and burnt during 586 B.C
Jeremiah had warned the people, but they did not listen.
Babylon took over the city, people could not leave the city. They were so hungry
they had to eat the flesh of their own children.
 
1) God will not be angry for long
(Vs 22, 31,33)
Anger from God caused Judah to be burnt. God punished them because He has warned them not to do it.
God needed to teach His people.
Psalm 30:5
We will know where the potholes are to avoid, if we follow God closely, as God will lead us, go out
before us, to guide us and to protect us. We need to listen to God`s words correctly.
God teaches us by punishing us.
 
2) God sympathizes with those who repent
( Vs 24-27, 32)
Luke 15:20
- We have God. Whatever we need, or whenever we are in trouble, 
God will send someone to help us.
- We need to continue studying the Bible and leaning on God with humility.
- We need to change everything especially when there are people who opposes our God
 
3) God Blesses those who follow and wait upon Him
(V. 28, 29, 30)
-Example: Our church in the province grew.. from initially starting with 10 people to over 50 now.
- God will use His hands to help and save those who follow Him.
 
5 things that will change a person who has suffered punishment 
1. Will change their thinking and the choices they have made.
    will approach God and God will answer.
2. Will let us rate our love correctly. Put God first
3. Will strengthen our relationship with God
4. Improves our prayer with God. Make us turn to God automatically
5. 2 Cor 1:4  Praise God only.From someone being a burden to someone
    helping others with burdens.
  Example: Paul was in Jail and encouraged people in Jail.
