We have to seek the Lord, as requested by Jesus. The tired are to seek Him.

1) understand the truth of the Bible

-please seek me

-the sick needs me, not the strong.

But all of us need God. We all have burdens on our backs.

"Tired and holding on to the burden"

Our physical body once we are tired after the rest we will recover.

But psychologically we need real rest.

Problems become heavier and heavier when we cannot let it down.

What is the `rest`?

Some people served a lot till they get very tired.

God wants us to have a relationship with God and not try too hard to please Him.

Blessings equals happiness

We can find happiness in every circumstance as Jesus blesses us all the time John 14:27

The verse tells us to give our burden and leave it with God.

We need to meet God daily and pass the burden to Him everyday.

 

2) the Yoke of the Buffalo

When the buffaloes work together there is usually a bigger one and a smaller one beside

The bigger one is more experienced and will guide and teach the younger one

It applies to a person as well we take the yoke and let God lead us and train us along the way.

 

3) Learn from Jesus

Luke 9:23

Everyday we should do our quiet time and read the Bible as well.

Mark 10:45

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve and give his life a ransom in the place of many.

 

Sometimes pride comes in even though we do not know, or are aware of it.

We need to constantly humble ourselves

Matthew 7:12

Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them, for this is the law and the prophets.

Philippians 2:8

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death - even death on a cross.

 

All Christians are disciples of God. all need to grow and follow Jesus and learn to be like him

When we seek the Lord, He will let us rest.

Relieve our burdens on the cross daily, and take the yoke with Jesus daily, and learn to be like Jesus everyday.
