WORSHIP 1

John 6:1-13
Speaker: Ajarn Thanon

V1-7
Jesus asked philip, how to buy food for so many people. They only had 200 dineroes total
During this period John has also just passed away and Jesus was very sad
But a big crowd has already come to look for Jesus. Jesus sympathizes with the people over their problems. Like the spirit of Christians we have our own problems but we have to continue helping others
There were more than 10,000 people and Jesus asked the disciples how much will be needed
He tested them
One of them said to send them home to eat
Another disciples said they will have to need a lot of money.

V8-9
A boy with five loaves of bread and two fishes offered the food to them.
Amongst the people there should be people with food but they did not offer anything but kept food for themselves
But the child gave everything the child had.
It was probably the bystander effort where people will give less help because they believe that others will help anyway.
The bread and fish represents our life possessions.
If people behave like the other people there who will selfish, miracles will not happen.
Jesus shows that there is no one too small or unimportant for God.
God uses the child too.
God can use any one of us.
Our talents from God will develop even further when we practice it.

V10-13
(When we offer the loaves and fish to God)
Give out the food and still had leftovers of 12 baskets of bread.
Leave the duty to God. Jesus will handle and bless all situations.
The water that changed to wine, when did it change? We do not know but as long as God is behind it we know that he will definitely work miracles.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

V.12 talks about talents
V.13 use love
V14. Talks about talents again

What profit Paul taught us about using talents
1. Use it through faith
2. Use it with hope
3. Use it in love, because we love our church and our church brothers and sisters.
