WORSHIP 1

Speaker: Ajarn Thanon
Does love conquers all?

Chemistry and Physics breaks down the composition of a person
But the missing link is the emotional and spiritual part of a human.
The link here is God
God not only has love for us, but He is love personified
If we love enough, there will be no misery, crime, hunger, despair etc
With love, many things may become better
The problem with people is that it`s not things that are not enough but there`s not enough love.

God is love
God teaches us two important things
1) love God with all your heart and mind
2) love others as you love yourself

Love manufactures mercy, tolerance, politeness, integrity Hosea 2:19-20

What happens when we meet someone that is not lovable?
God uses love to bind Israel.
God compares us to people He loves.
God was telling Israel who has given up on God, got says that he still loves them.
Got asked Hosea to marry an adulterous woman, to show Israel that although they are not good God still loves them.

That`s too facts of love that help us conquer problems
Real love will win over wrong
Pride makes us want to win, but love makes a person humble.
Israel was punished by god, but God forgives and blesses them in the end.

1 Corinthians 13:6-7
When Christians sin, God knows but God continues to love us.
Love Will find the mistakes but will change it.
God wants to help us and let us meet him in heaven.

Jacob 2:13
Love does not tolerate wrong but will help to correct wrong
Darkness cannot overcome darkness, only Love can

Love wins over the bad feelings of the world
When we have love, we are fresh, we have hope. Love wins.

Love: Feeling versus Willing
Feeling is the initial feeling of love.
But if we do not take care of the feeling, it can go away. So we need "willing" to help the love grow, like taking care of a plant

"Willing" is the effort to love on, to go on
If there`s a will there`s a way!

It is not how much you do but how much love you put into what you do that counts
- Mother Teresa
