We may experience problems and obstacles in our life.

1 Samuel 17:45

David went to send food to his brothers. He heard about Goliath that came to threaten the Jews.

David has fought with wolves bears and other wild animals as a shepherd.

But when he saw Goliath who was a Philistine he was way above his height.

 

1 Samuel 18: 7

David was the envy of Saul, and David had to try to avoid Saul and had to run away.

David teaches us to look at problems in a different way.

 

1. To put it in front of God all the time. God is on the right side of him. Turn to God all the time. 1 Samuel 17:45

David is small, Goliath is enormous.

Do we have a Goliath in our life? With God, Goliath will be small to us.

 

2. Our spirit is good. (Our emotional state is good)

When we put God in front of us, our mood become better. We have peace in our hearts.

 

3. Our physical body is safe and protected by God.

David feels that God did not give up on him, did not let go of him, God is there behind him all the way.

We are the only ones that move away from God. God will never distance Himself from us.

We may be bullied, but we will not die.           2 Corinthians 4:9

 

Hebrews 13:5

Paul tells the Jews that God will not leave them.

God will not let our hand go,  no matter how many problems and obstacles we face.

We have to focus on the cross

And remember God`s mercies.
