Moses took care of the israelites. Punishment is given to people who breaks the laws of Moses.

Adulterous people will be stoned to death in front of the people in the city square.

It was done to show the severity of the act.

An adulterous woman was caught in the act.

God wants to help everyone to be saved.

Sinners sometimes know what they are doing is sinful, but could not stop doing it.

 

The adulterous woman was used to test Jesus.

According to Moses` law she should be stoned to death. So they ask Jesus what should be done to put Jesus in a dilemma.

Romans 8.3

Jesus said, let the person who has never done wrong through the first stone.

The woman, who has sinned for life repented and turned over a new leaf.

Jesus said, from now onwards stop sinning.

She has never met anyone so sincere to her.

Luke 8. 1-3

She turned over a new leaf and she loved Jesus with all her heart.
