The city of David is your city
2 Samuel 5:6-10

David captured the fortress of Zion
David is the pride of the Jews
The pride of the city is Jerusalem.
Through history, when Joseph was taking over many cities example Jericho one of the cities that wasn`t successful was Jebus, in the city of Jerusalem.
David was asked to rule Jerusalem a total of 33 years.
Jerusalem had a section that was ruled by the jebusites. David had to claim over jebus in order to have full control of Israel. Matthew 11.12
When we conquer over the hardest City, it becomes our place.
1) location. Their position is good, on top of two mountains and very hard to reach
2) history. Joshua15.63
Nobody has done it before. There were no living examples.
Since Joshua times no one can overcome them.
Paul always stop because they were thinking it is impossible.
3) looking down.
Enemies looked down on David`s army.
The jebusites knew that they were strong
Do not be affected by people looking down on you.
Samples of problems we face for example location. Different customs and lifestyles can prevent us from becoming Christians
We need to win over the traditions.
Is good to do something different.
David decided to try to take over the bus even though it is difficult.
The first to do it will get it first.
