When Nehemiah received the news of the difficulties of the people in Jerusalem, and that the Gate of the city was burnt,
(“Those who survived the exile and are back in the province are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.”)
He cried and fasted and asked God for assistance.
(When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.)
At present the news happening in the world is the same situation. News of the war, the pandemic etc. Most of the time, as Christians we should
continue to approach God and wait for His help in prayer, We sometimes seek help from humans but the power and information is limited
and not everlasting like our God. We have to continue our prayers and God will answer our prayers.
Points to pray for:
1. About confessing our sins
2. About our social circle, and the different cultures, and the Thai deeper cultures that can hinder understanding of God`s teachings
3. About the people who are sinners or are troubled by sins. To make them repent and believe in God, and stop the war in Ukraine and receive God`s aid
4. About the revival
5. Ask God to fulfill His promise
6. Pray for the churches throughout Thailand
7. Pray for people who will serve God and work to expand His kingdom.
