Summary of Friday Prayer Meeting 1 July 2022

Matthew 9: 35-38
Harvesting Believers for God
Speaker: K Amphan

1. Our God never stops reaching out to people
V35, Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news
of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.
Jesus was followed by the crowds who wanted to listen to His teachings and to receive His Healing.

2. Jesus never stops loving or sympathizing with the people.
V36. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless,
Like sheep without a shepherd
Jesus looks deep into the lives of the people, and sees and understands their lives and their spirits.
1 Peter 5:8  Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion
looking for someone to devour.
John 10:10   The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

3. Do not stop serving God together
Matthew 9:37   Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
God calls us to us, His believers, to help harvest the people for His kingdom.
God loves all of us. Serving God is a good thing, and we will be able to use the
gifts God has given us to serve Him and to further His Kingdom.

4. Do not stop your prayers
Matthew 9:38    Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Continue in prayer to God, never stopping your prayers no matter how busy we are.
Jesus has stressed the importance of prayers to all His disciples, and praying to God shows we have faith in Him.
When His workers are in unison in prayer, the Holy Spirit will rise and cover everyone and the work of God.
Let`s continue to pray for our pastors and leaders in church, and the witnessing team for God
to continue to be with them and give them wisdom and power so that their ministry will reap
many good results.
